Beaumaris Castle Tea Towel

£1499

Beaumaris Castle is a medieval castle located in the town of Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, UK. It was built in the late 13th century by King Edward I as part of his campaign to conquer Wales and establish English dominance in the region.

Beaumaris Castle is considered one of the finest examples of medieval military architecture in Europe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle is surrounded by a moat and a series of concentric walls, towers, and gatehouses, which were designed to withstand attacks from enemy forces.

Despite its impressive design, the castle was never fully completed, and its construction was interrupted by political and financial difficulties. Nevertheless, it remains a popular tourist attraction, and visitors can explore its many towers, halls, and chambers, including the Great Hall, the Chapel, and the Guardroom.
