Mount Kilimanjaro Tea Towel
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. It is located in Tanzania, East Africa, and rises to an elevation of 5,895 meters above sea level.
Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcanic mountain and is composed of three distinct volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Kibo is the highest of these cones and is the one that is typically climbed by hikers and mountaineers.
Climbing Kilimanjaro can take anywhere from 5 to 9 days, depending on the route and the pace of the climb. There are several different routes to the summit, each with its own unique features and challenges. The most popular routes are the Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, and Rongai routes.
