Putney Bridge Boat Race Tea Towel
The Putney Bridge Boat Race is an annual rowing competition that takes place on the River Thames in London, England. The race is between the men's and women's rowing teams of Oxford University and Cambridge University and is one of the oldest and most famous rowing events in the world.
The race starts at Putney Bridge in southwest London and finishes approximately four and a quarter miles (6.8 km) downstream at Chiswick Bridge. The course takes the rowers through some of London's most famous landmarks, including Hammersmith Bridge and Barnes Bridge.
