Ivinghoe Beacon Tea Towel

Ivinghoe Beacon is a prominent hill and landmark located in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, England. It is part of the National Trust's Ashridge Estate and is a popular destination for hikers, walkers, and tourists. The beacon stands at a height of 233 metres and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, including the Vale of Aylesbury and the Dunstable Downs. The area around the beacon is also known for its rich flora and fauna, with many rare species of plants and animals found in the local woodlands and grasslands. Ivinghoe Beacon is also steeped in history, with evidence of human activity dating back to the Bronze Age. The site has been used as a lookout point and for religious ceremonies throughout history, and was even used as a beacon site during times of war.
