Olney is famous for its annual Pancake Race, which has been held since 1445. It takes place on Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day), and local women race through the town while flipping pancakes in frying pans. The event has become a quirky tradition and attracts visitors from all over. It's even depicted on the village sign!
