Olney Tea Towel

Olney is a historic market town in Buckinghamshire, England, known for its association with the hymn writer John Newton, and the charming St. Peter and St. Paul Church where "Amazing Grace" was penned. It has preserved its historic character, featuring a market, shops, and restaurants, making it a vibrant and picturesque place to visit or live.

Did you know?

Olney is famous for its annual Pancake Race, which has been held since 1445. It takes place on Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day), and local women race through the town while flipping pancakes in frying pans. The event has become a quirky tradition and attracts visitors from all over. It's even depicted on the village sign!
